I order this product after pre-ordering my iPhone 4 on June 15th. It was the only case I could find that seems to readily availble to ship from the merchant. Received the item promptly just a few days before the phone arrived. It included a front screen protector and a cleaning cloth.
The fit is pretty accurate and serves the purpose for protecting the sides and back of the phone considering it was likely manufactuered with limited specs available for the iPhone 4.
My only complaint is with the finish – there is a raised seam all the way around the sides (and over the round volume buttons) where it’s aparent the two halves the of the case were fused together or the injection mold wasn’t cut properly. And the edges of the open cutouts for the headphone, mute button, dock connector, etc has a similar yet smaller lip around the openings.
A minor complaint with the screen protector that it has that “rainbow” or oily look to it when held at an angle to the room light when the phone is off or on standby. But viewing the phone directly you can’t see it.
But for my needs – having a case and screen protector available for the day I got my phone for a inexpensive price – this case meets my needs. I plan to replace it in the future as other product become available and use this case as a back up.

After reading the various reviews on this item, I was on the fence about applying this to my shiny new iPod Touch (2G) 32GB. After all, it’s an expensive gadget! Needless to say, I am very pleased with the outcome.
I ordered my 3-pack through Bargaincell and they do indeed cover the entire face with an upside-down “U” cut out in the bottom to make space for the tactile “Home” button. They are also crystal clear and do not impact the visual appearance of the LCD screen nor do they impact touchscreen sensitivity in any way (that I could notice, and I’m quite nit-picky).
I methodically install screen protectors on all of my gadgets the day I get them. So here are some tips I’ve come up with while applying this particular protector:
1. Try to do this under very bright lighting (such as under a desk lamp) so it’s easier to see any stray dust.
2. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before handling. Blow on your hands and rub them briskly together to remove any towel lint.
3. Use the included cleaning cloth with a drop or two of water to remove all existing residue and finger smudges.
4. One you remove the thin backing to expose the light adhesive, only handle the protector by the long edges. Making the letter “C”, you should hold it in your hand as if holding a playing card (palm facing down).
5. Since the protector is very difficult to remove without damaging it, take the included smoothing card (or the edge of the backing you just removed) and place it under one corner because chances are, it WILL take several attempts to align the protector perfectly.
6. If you are correctly holding it at the long edges, the protector will bow downwards. Just before you apply it to the center of the iPod, gently blow across the iPod’s screen to remove any dust particles that have landed over the past few seconds.
7. Slowly place the protector on the iPod’s screen and allow to slowly flatten from the inside to the outer edges. Do not let go until the last possible moment. Fortunately, this protector is stiff enough to eliminate most (if not all) bubbles along the way.
8. If it is aligned to your satisfaction, gently remove the smoothing card from the corner. If not, use the card to gently peel up the protector and try again.
9. Once aligned, use the smoothing card to smooth out any stray bubbles near the edges.
10. Enjoy your protected iPod!

I just saw some Gelaskins at a telechoice store, as I am looking for other cool skins for the phones. Points to note about them, they are cheaper than Gizmobies at between $17.95 and $20 each (depending on the shop). They are thin, and only stickers. They are not removable – in that if you take them off the iPhone they leave gunk on it, and cannot be re-used like the Gizmobies. There are some cool patterns, but they definetly are only stickers compared to the thicker and more ‘glossy’ Gizmobies.

Sony Playstation Credit card information Breach

Electronics giant Sony has informed users of a intrusion into their computer systems for its online gaming service today. The PlayStation Network, or PSN, has been offline since last week. In recent days Sony said the outage was the result of an “external intrusion”.

Sony has send out an alert “We believe that an unauthorized person has obtained the following information that you provided: name, address (city, state, zip), country, email address, birthdate, PlayStation Network/Qriocity password and login, and handle/PSN online ID,” the alert said.

Overnight Sony began sending an alert to “all of our registered account holders” telling them that their personal information had been stolen.

If the intruder hacked and stole credit card data, the heist would rank among the biggest known thefts of financial data
